These are NOT Dancin' Shoes, I learned the hard way. Nor are they walkin' shoes. Or go to see a concert shoes. They are, however, wonderful paintin' shoes. So I did.
Love these! I wish I could stand up in something like this but alas, not possible! I do love the way you handled the composition and the metallic colors on this though!
Thankyou - and yes, they are killer in more ways than one (try wearing them) I was a little hesitant about taking them on, esp because I was in a rush to get them done. the extreme contrasts in values, the striped detail woven in, all the colors from everything around them bouncing around and reflecting into the metallic material, etc. it all made me a little weak in the knees. But they've been "calling" me for a while - and I figure, everything is challenging, might as well tackle it...if not now, when?
